Thank you for visiting my website. I am a teacher and a storyteller.

I do school assemblies, workshops, talks and discussions about a variety of cultural aspects from the Indian sub-continent through my ‘Saraswati Services’ work. I ensure to provide the sessions as required in your settings. Hence, I plan activities according to the needs of your children.

I visit Pre-schools, Nursery Schools, Infant schools, Junior schools, Primary schools, Special schools, Educational Centres and other venues, mainly in Hampshire and in the neighbouring counties. I am an experienced Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 class teacher, and an Ethnic Minority specialist teacher.

Give your children and adults the opportunity to experience some creative Intercultural ideas and activities. I passionately believe in Education through Art. The Hindu Goddess Saraswati of art, music, speech and education truly inspires me with all my creativity. Apart from doing Intercultural work, I like to write stories, draw, paint, illustrate, sew, knit, cook, bake, etc. I also like volunteering in the local library during the summer Reading Challenge when possible.

My favourite pastime is living in The Picture Book Planet. I love to read and share picture books. I feel this is the best creation ever. Many wonderful picture book authors and illustrators and their amazing picture books have inspired me. I am an aspiring picture book author. My first story is about a little bilingual girl who is unable to speak at school due to Selective Mutism Anxiety. My other stories are about animals and/or intercultural ephemeral arts.
